Classic Cheesecake in Air Fryer



CLASSIC CHEESECAKE in AIR FRYER

Ingredients:




For the Base:
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
For the Filling:
  • 250g cream cheese
  • 125g caster sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tbs vanilla essence
  • 1 small plain yogurt
  • 1 small can nestle cream
  • 2 tbsp APF
Procedure:
  1. Preheat airfryer at 180 degrees celcius.
  2. Crushed the cornflakes using food processor add the sugar and melted butter. Press into the spring form pan  and put in the fridge for a while.
  3. In a mixing bowl using hand mixer, mix the sugar and cream cheese until nice and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla essence and mixed on medium speed. Add the nestle cream and yogurt. Gradually add the 2 tbsp APF and mix.
  4. Pour the mixture in the prepared crust and level it with spatula.
  5. Bake in water bath by pouring hot water in the air fryer pan just as the level of the mesh of the second pan.
  6. Cook for 15 mins at 180 degrees celcius, 10 mins at 160 degrees celcius and then last 15 mins at 150 degrees celcius. Just double check it because it will depends on the brand of your air fryer.
  7. When it is done place it inside the fridge for 6hrs and let it cool before serving.
  8. Drizzle with caramel or chocolate sauce as you like.











NOTES
  • Bring ingredients in the room temperature to prevent lumps.
  • Do not over mix the cheese cake. Over mixing will incorporate to much air bubbles which leads to crack while baking.
  • Water bath adds moisture that leads to perfectly baked moist cheese cake
  • Can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.
