I am very obsess in using my air fryer. On the very first day that I have it until today I searched a lot of recipes and revised it on my own ways. As I am very much in love with good food and I am trying to make a recipe as easiest as I can using my very convenient partner in the Kitchen (my airfryer).
Today as I am surfing the internet and looking for a dessert to be done in a few minutes, this miniature egg pies caught my attention. Thank you for Kawaling Pinoy website which I read and learned the original recipe but instead of the original measurements I try to reduced it and make my own way since I will not use an oven instead I will use an Air Fryer to make it more convenient and easy.
Few tips:
- I used food processor to mixed the butter cubes and the chilled flour.
-cold water is used to make a tender crust.
-chilled the dough at least 30mins so the water will be absorbed well and it will be more easier to roll it up.
This is the 4th week of our curfew here on KSA, just to make my time productive I tried to make this tasty miniature egg pies and my husband like it so much. The custard filling has a rich taste of creaminess and not too sweet while the crust is tender and buttery in flavor. Easy and fun to make, preferably good with your favorite hot coffee 😋
